Montage Los Cabos's acclaimed Thai street-food concept by Chef Marc Narongchai — Food & Wine Mexico Best New Chef 2020, Bangkok-born, pop-up at Montage Laguna Beach. One of Cabo's most distinctive dining experiences. Talay is the celebrated Thai concept at Montage Los Cabos on Santa María Bay, created by Bangkok-born Chef Marc Narongchai Muangkaew — named Food & Wine Mexico's Best New Chef in 2020. What began as a pop-up has become one of the most talked-about restaurants in Los Cabos: an outdoor lush setting inspired by Thailand's beach culture, with a full-size Buddha statue, palm-frond kitchen roof, bamboo bar, hanging lanterns, and tableside candles. The menu is served street-truck style with fire-grilled Thai favourites: Hamachi with lemongrass and kaffir lime, wood-grilled local sea bass in coconut green curry, braised wagyu beef cheek with Surat Thani spicy dry curry, and northern-style egg noodles with crab curry broth. A family-style chef's menu is available. Talay has popped up at Montage Laguna Beach, sharing a billing with Dominique Crenn and Mauro Colagreco. Los Cabos Culinary Awards nominee 2026.
